Donald “Denver” Woodhall: February 28, 1980 - January 20, 2007, IN LIGHT ETERNAL
Lux æterna luceat eis, Domine, cum sanctis tuis in æternum, quia pius es. Requiem æternam dona eis, Domine; et lux perpetua luceat eis.
May everlasting light shine upon them, O Lord, with thy saints in eternity, for thou art merciful. Grant them eternal rest, O Lord, and may everlasting light shine upon them.
Today has been a long day. Denver was my roomate for my first couple weeks at Craig Hospital; I learned of his passing this morning on my way to class and was able to attend a memorial service for him in Broomfield this afternoon. He was a loving and generous Christian, greatly missed by his friends and family, with whom my thoughts and prayers currently reside.

Daryl,It was so very good to see you and such a blessing to see you out of your chair! ThankYou so very much for coming to Denver’s life celebration, and for your loving thoughts and prayers.May our Great and Awesome Mighty God continue to Bless you and your love ones.Lynda (Denver”s mom) some of D-towns favorite verses…Isaiah 49 …I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands: …
2 Corinthians 4…inwardly we are being renewed day by day…..for what is seen is temporary for what is unseen is eternal. chapter 5..Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. January 20th was the day of redemption for my son ,whom God bought back ,poured out his mercy and favor, rescued him and lavished his love upon him…a new day,a new beginning for Denver …to God be all Glory!!!

I saw your blog online, when I was searching for Denver’s Obit. I went to Rocky Mtn College with him and I just found out about his passing. I’m still in shock. Denver was an incredible man and friend. It is just unreal that someone so young, is no longer with us. Just know that even though I don’t know you personally, know that you have support from many of us here in Calgary. We are all blown away and in shock. The boys had a b-ball game in his memory last week and retired his jersey. An emotional time. You are not alone…we share in your loss and in the loss for his family. Many blessings. D

It was good that I was able to make it to Denver’s memorial service. It’s good, too, to see that this site has had a small part in the healing process for some people - we’re all in need of healing, I think, for something or other.
